Lexy's approach to devising is bringing an ensemble together with strengths in different areas of communication: singing, puppetry, writing, movement/dance, clowning, etc. In doing so, they approach each project as a way to explore all the means we have for sharing something with an audience.
The focus is usually not on a linear narrative. The story comes together through experimenting with media and different forms of art. The ultimate goal is to excite an audience and help them experience something completely new and accessible. These theatrical experiences focus on joy, exhilaration, and challenging the audience.
Lexy also loves to work in unconventional venues. From record shops to churches to their own apartment, they can turn any site into a performance space.
